Plagiarism According to ANU
Article II of the Institution’s code of Academic Integrity Defines plagiarism as:
- “Submitting a paper or answer in which the language, ideas, or thoughts are identical to published or unpublished material from another source without correctly giving credit to that souce.”

Plagiarism According to Merriam-Webster
- To steal and pass off (the ideas or words of another) as one’s own: use with out crediting the source.
- To commit literary theft: present as new and original an idea or product derived from an existing source.
